Background: SheTale Media Network is an online media network founded by Ms. Halimatou Ceesay in 2023 and legally registered in 2025. It is supported by a vibrant group of young women and men in media to amplify the voices of Women, Children, and Minority groups through their stories.
The mainstream media typically dedicates only a weekly column or talk show to the stories of women, girls, and children. This is why SheTale Media Network was established — to specifically address the needs of these groups and highlight their stories of resilience, survival, innovation, and hard work in contributing to the development of a nation.
